Were Medicare Costs for 2015 deliberately withheld?

Many seniors are wondering if Medicare costs for 2015 were deliberately withheld. The 2015 Medicare Handbook, that was recently sent out to seniors, included a note on page 12 claiming that the premiums and deductible amounts would not be available into after the November 4th elections.

This however, was definitely not the case. The handbook does include that note, but the book was created before premiums and deductibles were released. There was also a complaint about Social Security cost-of-living increase for 2015 is only 1% and would not cover Medicare increases. Cost-of-living adjustments for 2015 is estimated to be 1.7% or $20 each month. However, it was also announced that there will be no increases to Medicare costs.

Most seniors pay a premium of $104.09 each month for Part B and this amount will not change in 2015. They also pay $147 for Part B deductible each year and this will also remain unchanged in 2015.
