Medicare workshop offered for baby boomers
The Annual Enrollment Period for Part D drug plans and Part C Medicare Advantage plan will begin October 15th and will end December 7th. Passages Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program will be providing several community workshops titled What’s New in Medicare for 2014 to help Medicare enrollees make the best choice possible for their health care needs in the coming year. The workshops will explain changes in drug plans, which plans will remain in your area, which plans will leave, and will also be available to answer any questions regrading Medicare Advantage plans. The workshops are free but registration is required, you may call 1-800-434-0222 for more any information. The workshops are scheduled for October 21st and November 18th from 2-3 p.m.
