Open Enrollment for Medicare begin on October 15, 2014 and Medicare enrollees will have until December 7, 2014 to makes changes to their current plans. Medicare administrators will advise every enrollee to review their plans to see if he or she wants to make changes to their current drug and health coverage options. During open enrollment, he or she may make changes without any restrictions. Changes he or she makes on or before December 7th will go into effect January 1, 2015. If you are happy with your current plan you should still review your options, because plans doe make changes to their coverage packages each year.
