On October 9, 2014, Medicare revealed what the 2015 Part A and B deductibles as well as the new Part B premiums will be. The standard Part B premiums for 2015 will not increase it will remain at $104.90 each month.
Also released were the new Part A and Part be deductibles. The new Part A hospital coverage deductible will increase from $44 to $1, 260, however Part B’s deductible will stay at $147.00. This is great news because Part B deductible tends to increase every year.
Medicare skilled nursing for 2015 will be days 1-20 zero co pay and days 21-1– will increase from $152 to $157.50.
All these changes will go into effect starting January 1, 2015.
