AARP MEDICARERX PLANAARP Medicare Plan RX

AARP and UnitedHealth Group offers the
AARP MedicareRx Plan
throughout the US. It provides a high-quality
prescription drug highly customized
for
Medicare beneficiaries.

The AARP Medicare Plan is competitively priced and below the national average for such RX plans.

Regardless of which plan people choose, AARP's overall goal is to help all Medicare beneficiaries understand the options available to them so that they can make informed decisions about their own prescription drug needs.

AARP continues to work on many fronts to lower drug costs for all Americans. When it comes to helping those in Medicare, no one knows beneficiaries as well as AARP. The AARP MedicareRx Plan is a natural extension of our long legacy of providing affordable prescription drugs to older Americans.

The AARP MedicareRx Plan is competitively priced and below the national average for such plans, has a zero deductible or first-dollar coverage, and it provides convenient access to prescription drugs through the availability of over 90 percent of the nation's retail pharmacies as well as through mail-order services - whichever best suits the needs of recipients.
MEDICARE SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE The AARP MedicareRx Plans are open to everyone who's eligible for Medicare in the plan service area of the 50 states, D.C., and five U.S. territories. Specifically, a person eligible for this plan:

Is entitled to Medicare benefits under Part A or enrolled in Medicare Part B; and
Resides in the service area of the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan, which includes the United States and United States territories.
AARP MedicareRx Plans are available to all eligible Medicare beneficiaries, including members and non-members of AARP.

If you are already enrolled in a Medicare prescription drug plan but you're not 100% satisfied with its customer service, drugs covered or the price, you can apply for the AARP MedicareRx Plans between November 15th and December 31st of each year.

Or, if you currently have prescription drug coverage through another type of insurance plan, you'll want to compare it to Medicare Part D plan coverage to make sure your needs are met.
